How long does shipping take?
To ensure quality, we make each piece upon order. Allow 2-5 days for us to make your custom piece. Then choose your shipping preference via USPS, UPS or DHL.

What are the key features to this 3d wall art?
Key Features:
1. Birch veneer wood: Crafted from thoroughly inspected wood, our wood features a rich wood grain, making it an ideal piece on your wall or shelf.
2. Lightweight Design: The Birch veneer wood we use is a light weight design no matter what size you order. We also have a beveled nail hole on backside to easily catch the lip of most nails, making it super easy to hang with out worry.
3. Durable Construction: Built for the indoor environment. We use the strongest market wood glue and glue press everything for at least 20 hours.
4. Handcrafted Excellence: Each piece of art is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, ensuring a level of craftsmanship that sets it apart. The attention to detail is evident in every layer and engraved detail, making it a true work of art.

What type of wood do you use?
We use a standard grade birch veneer mostly. We sometimes use a utility type wood as well for secondary structural or color chips that are added into the pieces.
Can I request customization on wood items?

Do you make any other types of wood art than what you show?
Yes we do! We make larger sized wood mosaics that we sell at art shows and on instagram. We may eventually bring them to the website. You can contact us at orders@hometowninspiration.com to start this conversation.
About the founders
Why we built this
I (Artist Matt Herman) have been building apparel brands for 30+ years now. During that time I've been building a solid, honest and strong name for myself in the apparel industry. I've played strategic roles in the success of such brands as Huk Performance Fishing, Nomad Outdoors and ASIO gear. I am addicted to the passion and excitement of creation by illustration and new product development. You will find me up in the morning until the late hours of the night creating and building 7 days a week in my art studio. My favorite thing to hear at shows is, "I've never seen anything like this before." When I hear that I feel like I did my job.
My wife, Rachel Herman left her nursing career in 2019 to pursue this new opportunity to help build a brand for her family. She also took this leap so she could spend more time raising our 3 young boys. She is the anchor to my flailing kite of ideas, that keeps me grounded and focused. She also keeps everything top quality when she is doing the hands on treatments or sewing of the leather goods.
Together we are Hometown Inspiration, LLC. We created this Brand not only for our family, but to show American pride and appreciation through our goods and services. We focus on quality over quantity. We are interested more in catering to people on a smaller level and producing quality American Made goods. This custom crafted 3D wood wall art was created using one of Matt Herman’s original design layout concepts having the Army Seal as the focal point with the American Flag as the backdrop. The art is then programmed using intricate laser engraving processes to ensure high quality detail. The heavily distressed driftwood border frame was custom made for this series. Each piece is designed with 3 layers of birch veneer wood showing hand stained colors of barn red, washed white and weathered navy shades making each one unique in its own way. Proudly made in Tallahassee, FL. USA
